2022 is just getting started, and what’s a better way to kick things off than with a contest for our Creative Pros? We thought it would be fitting to offer some awesome prizes for videographers, photographers, and graphic designers looking for global exposure.
Funnel’s team is happy to present you with the opportunity to get your creative work published on a worldwide stage. From February 15th through March 7th, 2022, we’re calling on our Creative Pros — photographers, videographers, and graphic designers — to design one-of-a-kind pieces based on a monthly theme. Original work should be uploaded to Instagram using the hashtag #FunnelCreatorsChallenge. We’ll select a winner for each category based on creative execution, uniqueness, composition, and connection to the theme, and we’ll feature the winners’ profile on our website and social media pages for the world to see.
In an ode to Valentine’s Day, we’ve picked RED as our theme for this month’s Creators Challenge Contest.
As an entrepreneur and a designer, we’re sure you’re aware of the symbolism behind the color red. Red is the color of revolution and seduction. It’s one of the boldest colors on the spectrum, and it’s known as a signal for danger and attention. A bold red always stands out — one of the many reasons why red artwork is known for fetching the highest prices at auction.
The number of creative professionals using freelance marketplaces like Funnel has grown substantially in the past year, as more workers step away from the corporate grind and companies embrace the on-demand workforce model. Here at Funnel, we’ve seen a massive increase in the number of Creative Pros using our marketplace to connect with clients and sell their services to those who need their expertise.
Funnel’s Creators Challenge Contest is your chance to stand out and get noticed. Contest winners will get their profile featured on Funnel’s website for one month, along with an announcement in Funnel’s email and at least four promotional posts on our social media channels.
What is the contest?
We want to highlight the best of what Funnel’s platform has to offer, and we’re calling on you to show us what you’ve got. From February 10th to March 10th, we’re asking all photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to upload an original piece of work that incorporates the color red on Instagram.

Why the color red?
Since pharaohs ruled Egypt, red has been the color of passion and seduction. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we decided to kick off our first Creator’s Challenge Contest with a theme that everyone can appreciate. How you choose to interpret the theme is up to you — just make sure to include the color red in a unique and creative way.
When to submit your project and how will we choose a winner?
We’re looking for creative execution, uniqueness, composition, and the use of the color RED. Winners from each of three categories — photography, videography, and graphic design — will be picked on March 15th, 2022 and all submissions must be made by March 8th, 2022. What are the prizes?
Grand prize winners in each category will get their Funnel profiles featured on our website for one month. We’re also sending out a Winner Announcement via email and posting the very best work from top Creative Pros on our social media channels.
Can anyone enter the contest and win?
The Creator’s Challenge Contest is open to every Creative Pro with a completed profile on Funnel’s marketplace. To pick a winner, we’re looking at creative execution, uniqueness, composition, and the use of the color red.
When will the winner be announced?
